Turning Cold Everywhere

Well, we have finally gotten what we deserve. Snow has arrived. Not much of it but enough to make it actually look like winter. We are not the only ones either. It is cold everywhere. It was freezing in Phoenix and in the 30's in Florida. California will most definitely have damage to the citrus crops due to freezing. (It must be global warming.....) I emailed a cousin in Arizona, rubbing it in that the temperature there was the same as ours in Ohio. I'm sure he is thrilled. He recently made a comment that he missed us but couldn't come to visit because he couldn't stand the cold in Ohio. I guess I get the last laugh on that one.

Maybe the cold won't last long.
(79 degrees and sunny in Key West)

Rain!

Rain, rain, rain. That's the word of the day in Ohio. It was a rainy weekend. Flooding rains have made a mess. We are still in better shape than a lot of people to the West of us. There were some bad ice storms that made it terrible for thousands. Ice was the biggest problem causing hundreds of thousands to be without power. There were also a number of auto related deaths associated with the bad road conditions. It is still supposed to snow a little here after the temperature drops through the day today, but all and all it appears we missed the worst of it.
